Flounder and Sebastian who had followed the girl,
help her to reach the surface. There they
meet Scuttle who helps her to get dressed.
The prince finds her sitting on a rock and
believes that she is the mysterious girl with the beautiful voice
that had saved him, but when he realizes that Ariel can't speak, he
changes his mind, but helps her anyway, taking her to the palace.
At dinner
time, the girl enchants the prince and his tutor convinces him to
take her to see the
kingdom. Eric invites Ariel and on the following morning they go
explore its landscapes.
During it,
Sebastian, trying to get the prince to kiss Ariel to save her, sings
"Kiss the Girl" with the other animals of the lagoon. The two in
love almost kiss
when Flotsam and Jetsam knocks them out of the boat.
Ursula, seeing that the girl would be
kissed before sunset, turns herself into human and, using Ariel's
voice, hypnotizes the prince and convinces him to marry her, now
called Vanessa.
Ariel cries over the
loss of her love, until Scuttle, who was flying close to the ship
where the wedding ceremony would take
place, tells her that Vanessa is indeed the sea witch in a disguise.
Desperate, Ariel
jumps into the water and Flounder helps her to get to the ship.
Sebastian send s
Scuttle to stop the wedding and goes to the Sea King to tell him
what's going on.
Scuttle asks all
the animals around to help to stop the prince from marrying the
witch.
When Ariel
finally gets there, among the mass, the necklace where her voice was
in breaks,
and Ariel gets her voice back.
Eric, coming out
of the spell, finally sees that the girl that he's been looking for
was Ariel all along. But before they can kiss, the sun sets and she
goes back to being a mermaid.
Ursula drags her back to the sea and says that in truth she wanted
the king's crown, but he's already
waiting for her with his Trident on his hands.
Blackmailing the
King, the witch makes him take Ariel's place as her prisoner in
order to save the girl.
Eric tries to help Ariel by diving after her, but
Flotsam and Jetsam stop him. But they accidentally die by a blast
from the Trident fired by the witch.
Ariel
and Eric go up to the surface but are followed by Ursula who becomes
a giant and starts to control the waters.
Ariel falls into a marine tornado while Eric tries to stop the
witch.
Ursula
is ready to kill the mermaid when the prince destroys her. The spell
that kept everyone who had asked for the
witch's help trapped ends and King Triton comes back to normal.
Said
for having returned to be a mermaid
and not being able to remain with the prince, Ariel watches him from
a rock. Her father, realizing that she loves him indeed, makes her
human again.
The King gives them his blessing and Ariel and
Eric get married, living happily ever after!
